At the intersection where Downtown Brooklyn connects with Brownstone Brooklyn, life feels different. Across the street from the landmark that once defined this area, sits an opportunity just waiting to be rediscovered. This opportunity is 2 Hanson Place, now known as 2HBK. This 14 story commercial property has so much to offer, and will involve a series of new enhancements. Situated right above the famous Atlantic Terminal, this quickly became a focal point, yet also a crucial design challenge. The challenge was to separate itself from the identity of the terminal while also maintaining its integrity as the most accessible building in Brooklyn. Connecting 2HBK with the brownstone neighborhood situated right behind the property, helped to distinguish itself as a building defined by its community and not the busy transit sector. Correlating this with a lively color palette that has a more residential feel and revealing the exciting new upgrades and amenities, 2HBK quickly became the talk of the town and established itself as a new commercial icon and in Downtown Brooklyn.
